Listen up. We're VetColor, and we're here to wage war on PTSD and anxiety - with coloring books. Yeah, you heard that right. Before you dismiss this, hear us out. This isn't some touchy-feely nonsense. We're vets who've found an unconventional weapon in the battle against our own minds.

The Hard Facts:

As of 2023, there are about 18.6 million of us vets out there. Here's the kicker - 14.9 million are dealing with some level of disability. That's a whole lot of warriors carrying invisible wounds. If you're reading this, chances are you're one of them, or you know someone who is.

For us GWOT-era vets, we make up a big chunk of that 18.6 million. We've been fighting the "longest war in U.S. history," and now we're battling an enemy within. PTSD, anxiety, depression - these don't play by the rules. They hit you when you least expect it, turning everyday life into a minefield of triggers and sleepless nights.

Enter VetColor:

Our solution? Coloring books. I know how it sounds, but stick with me. These aren't your kid's coloring books. These are tools of war against the chaos in your mind.

The Science Behind It:

Before you dismiss this as some new-age nonsense, let's talk science. Studies have shown that coloring can reduce anxiety and stress, improve focus, promote mindfulness, enhance fine motor skills, and stimulate both hemispheres of the brain. In other words, it's like PT for your brain. And just like PT, it might seem pointless at first, but stick with it, and you'll see results.

Our Arsenal:

We've got a growing lineup of coloring books, journals, and activity books that are military inspired. See more at www.vetcolor.com

How It Works:

  1. Grab a book and some colored pencils (or crayons if that's your thing, looking at you, Devils)

  2. Find a quiet spot (or don't - some of us work better with a bit of background noise)

  3. Start coloring

  4. Let your mind focus on the task at hand

  5. Before you know it, an hour's gone by, and your mind's clearer than before

It's not a magic cure-all. We're not promising miracles. But it's a tool in your kit that doesn't require a prescription, doesn't have any side effects, and can be done anytime, anywhere.

The VetColor Difference:

Why us? Why not just grab any old coloring book off the shelf? Here's why:

  1. Made in America: We're proud to say our products are American-designed and made.

  2. Designs That Mean Something: Our books are inspired by veterans and are targeted to be something of interest to the veteran community.

  3. More Than Just Books: We're building a community of warriors fighting the good fight against PTSD and anxiety.

  4. Giving Back: We are partnering with veteran organizations to enhance and extend support offered to the veteran community.

The VetColor Mission:

Our mission is simple: To create a world where every active and veteran service member can find peace, purpose, and connection. We're doing this by empowering those who have given service through targeted productions promoting enjoyment and growth.

Who We Are:

We're not some big corporation trying to cash in on veteran issues. We're a team with vets who've been there and done that. Our founder, Jeremiah Popp, is a Marine vet who discovered the power of coloring during his own battle with PTSD. He's integrated his personal experiences with talented connections to create something that actually works.

The Challenge:

Here's where you come in. We're challenging you to give it a shot. Yeah, it might feel weird at first. You might feel like you're back in kindergarten. But push through that initial discomfort. Give it a solid try for a week. Fifteen minutes a day, that's all we're asking. If it doesn't help, fair enough. But if it does? You've just found a powerful new ally in your fight against PTSD and anxiety.

Join the Ranks:

Ready to color your demons away? Here's how to join the VetColor battalion:

  1. Visit the shop page of our website

  2. Check out our range of coloring books

  3. Pick the one that speaks to you

  4. When it arrives, color for 15 minutes and see if your anxiety levels have decreased.

  5. Share your experience with us and your fellow vets.

The Road Ahead:

We're just getting started. In the coming months, we'll be rolling out new designs, hosting coloring sessions for vets, and we are currently working on expanding our partnerships with veteran resource organizations (VROs) and VA centers to get our books into the hands of those who need them most.

Final Thoughts:

Look, we get it. Coloring books might not seem like the most hardcore way to fight PTSD. But sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is try something new, especially when the old ways aren't cutting it.

So what do you say, warrior? Ready to pick up a new weapon in the fight against PTSD? Head over to www.VetColor.com and join the ranks of vets who are coloring their way to calmer minds and better days.

Remember: This isn't about art. It's about healing. It's about taking control. It's about showing PTSD that we've got a few tricks up our sleeves too.

Welcome to VetColor. Let's color those demons away, one page at a time.
